These watercolours aim to explore the beauty of plants.
I started this project to learn more about the plants that are common to Europe, most specifically Ireland and Poland, however not exclusively as many species which are common to these regions of the world also are found across Europe or aren't native species at all.

Through my art I explore the plants visually, learn about their properties and quirks to not only enrich my own world but also that of others.

I base these drawings on my own curiosity around the plants I learn about in books, online or through venturing out into the wilds to bring them back in photographic form or as sketches in my nature journal.
